Robinson attends Lernerville for Firecracker 100 weekend

Following the ninth-fastest time in his group, Robinson faded back to a ninth-place finish in his heat, relegating him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Ross logged an eighth-place finish.

On Friday, Ross came in fourth in his heat before dashing to a 10-lap consolation victory. With $6,000 on the line in the feature, Robinson gained two spots in the 30-lapper to finish 17th.

For the finale on Saturday, Robinson followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a fourth-place in his B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the $50,000-to-win Firecracker 100. Inching forward three spots in the 100-lap affair, Ross recorded a 23rd-place outing.
