Ross Robinson finishes sixth in Selinsgrove's season opener
In preparation for a tripleheader with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on his home turf, Ross Robinson entered a pair of events over the weekend in Pennsylvania.
Robinson opened his weekend Friday at Selinsgrove Speedway, which kicked off its season under new management. He impressed early by clocking the third-fastest time in his qualifying group and backing it up with a runner-up finish in his heat. Battling for a $5,000 winner’s check in the feature, Robinson delivered a steady performance to notch a sixth-place result.
On Saturday, Robinson made the trip to Port Royal Speedway, but his night was cut short. Despite showing promise, mechanical issues forced him to retire from the $4,000-to-win A-Main on lap 16.
