Top-10 finish with Lucas Oil at Port Royal Speedway

After Mother Nature axed Friday’s Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.V.), Ross Robinson returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.) for the Conococheague 50. Following a seventh-place finish in his heat, Robinson edged his way into the A-Main with the third-and-final transfer spot in his B-Main. On Sunday afternoon at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) for the River Valley 40, Ross’ fifth-to-third run in his heat race positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward two spots in the 40-lap affair, Robinson notched a seventh-place finish.
