Robinson caps tour of the south at Golden Isles
A tough stretch, to say the least, but Georgetown, Delaware's own Ross Robinson powered through it, concluding his 2026 early season tour of the south with a multi-day campaign at Golden Isles Speedway in Waynesville, Georgia. Although falling short of victory, there were plenty of shining moments in the five-day Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series takeover, highlighting his slate with a 12th-place score on Thursday, March 5. Impressive enough, Robinson, who has been a regular fixture in the super late model scene since 2007, climbed 16 positions to achieve his 12th-place outcome - the most of any competitor in the field that evening.
On the road for nearly a month, Robinson launched his early season tour of the south with DIRTcar Nationals competition at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida, on Monday, February 9. Between Volusia and Golden Isles, Robinson visited All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Florida, and Ocala Speedway in Ocala, Florida.
