Top-10 finish with LOLMDS at 300 Raceway
Ross Robinson returned to action in the Hawkeye State on Friday afternoon with a visit 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Truck Country 50. With 23 Late Models entered, Robinson secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat race. On Sunday afternoon after Mother Nature shifted Saturday’s event back a day, Amanda Robinson joined Ross in action at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) for the CRST Transportation Solution 50. Ross edged his way into the finale with a fifth-place finish in his heat while Amanda placed eighth. With $15,000 on the line in the feature, Amanda pulled off on the fifth circuit while dropped one spot to finish 14th.
Ross is currently 12th in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
