Robinson follows Lucas Oil to Wheatland for Show-Me weekend

In a stout field of 63 cars, Robinson’s ninth-to-sixth run in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main for another shot at the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature. Needing to place second or better, Ross fell short with an eighth-place outing.

Rolling off on the fourth row in his B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100 finale, Ross passed three cars to finish fifth, forcing him to take a provisional into the main event. Gaining five spots in the 100-lap affair, Robinson logged a 21st-place finish.
