Ross Robinson marches to 12th-place finish in World Finals finale

With the massive 70-car field split into two groups, Robinson came in fourth in his heat before placing second in his heat B-Main. Earning the 23rd-starting position for Wednesday’s prelim, Ross retired on lap 19 after bringing out a mid-race caution.
For another round of prelims on Thursday, Ross missed a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main, ending his night early.
With preliminary points placing him on the third row of his B-Main on Saturday, Robinson followed up a fourth-place showing with a consolation victory, locking him into the World of Outlaws World Finals finale. With $25,000 on the line, Ross advanced forward nine spots in the 50-lap affair to register a 12th-place finish.
