Pair of Top-5 finishes for Ross and Amanda Robinson at Georgetown
Friday night found both Amanda and Ross Robinson in action at Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Del.) aboard their Stockley Materials-backed entries for the track’s annual Mid-Atlantic Championship.
With heat races on Friday evening setting the stage for Saturday’s main event, Ross raced into feature with a second-place finish in his heat while Amanda streaked to a flag-to-flag victory in her eight-lap heat.
Chasing the $7,000 top prize in Saturday night’s A-Main, Ross steered forward three positions to register a second-place finish while Amanda ran a consistent fourth in the 40-lap affair. Ross followed Rick Eckert across the line with Shaun Jones coming in third and Andrew Yoder rounding out the Top-5.
