Pair of top-10 finishes in Ocala's Winter Nationals

Ross Robinson's 2025 Speedweek campaign continued this past week as he made his way to the newly renamed Ocala Speedway in Florida for the opening round of five straight nights of racing.

Following an 18th-place finish on Tuesday, Robinson enjoyed a stronger start on Wednesday as he went sixth-fastest in his time trial group. With a runner-up finish in his heat race positioning him on the fourth row for the $7,000-to-win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned feature, Ross rolled to a consistent eighth-place outing.

Finishing one spot better in Thursday’s main event, Ross took the green in 15th via his heat race result and climbed eight spots in the 40-lapper to register a seventh-place finish.

Robinson wrapped up the final two rounds of the Wieland Winter Nationals on Friday and Saturday with finishes of 19th and 11th, respectively. His impressive run from 23rd to 11th in Saturday’s $25,000-to-win finale earned him the Hoker Trucking Hard Charger of the Race award.
